About Department

The department has very good infrastructure facility to create best environment of teaching for the students. The department building is built after the tragedy of earthquake in 2001. This new building is very strong and built with latest technology and design to resist any type of natural calamities. The building contains sufficient number of class rooms, laboratories, tutorial rooms, seminar hall, faculty rooms and amenities.

Diploma Computer Engineering programs have been accredited by NBA from the   AY – 2022-23 to 2024-25 i.e. up to 30/06/2025.

“Envision to produce competent diploma computer engineers by achieving academic and professional excellence as per the need of IT industry and society globally.”

MISSION:  

  1. To impart fundamentals of computer and related engineering fields among learners to achieve skills using various teaching and learning methods.

  2. To maintain and mobilize vital resources among students and faculty members for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

  3. Dedicate itself to create strong institute-industry linkages that will enhance student’s skills and attitudes to succeed as professionals and entrepreneurs.

Program Educational Objectives :

  1. Excel in higher education and professional career.

  2. Provide well-defined solutions in related domains with professional ethics.

  3. Be an entrepreneur in computer and allied domains

 Program Specific Outcomes:-

  1. Design and develop Desktop, Web, and Android Application to provide Solution for problems

  2. Manage, support, and troubleshoot hardware, software, networking components, operating system (OS), and data storage in IT Infrastructure.

• Basic Electronics, Digital Electronic
• Microprocessors
• Different hardware components of a computer and their troubleshooting
• Different peripherals, their performance and cost characteristics
• Installation of various operating systems, their capabilities
• Installation of commonly used software
• Networking, network topologies and installation of LANs
