About Department

The department is one of the pioneering departments, since the commencement of the college in 1988. Earlier, the department is commenced as Water Resources Engineering Department. Later, the scope of the department is widened and renamed as Civil Engineering Department in 1998. Over the years, the department has progressed at a rapid pace with the development in both the spheres of infrastructure facilities and faculty members. The department has highly qualified faculty members engaged in teaching and research with the aim of achieving excellence in various fields. The faculty members are specialized in different disciplines of Civil Engineering.

The department has very good infrastructure facility to create best environment of teaching for the students. The department building is built after the tragedy of earthquake in 2001. This new building is very strong and built with latest technology and design to resist any type of natural calamities. The building contains sufficient number of class rooms, laboratories, seminar hall, projector room, faculty rooms and amenities.
